How an entry appears here. Ask DIPO on any channel: “Someone messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to pay for shares into their personal account.”
DIPO refuses to let you pay, files the report, and reads the reference back. It appears on this register within seconds.
DIPO never claims a report was filed unless the service actually returned a reference. Ask “what’s my ticket number?” before reporting anything — it will tell you it has no record rather than invent one. Contact details are masked at source — only the last three digits ever leave the service, names are shortened, and any account or phone number typed into a free-text field is redacted before it reaches this page.
